Talking about the historical fact of this park, it is heard that this park is related to Mary Curzon – the wife of Lord Curzon who was the Viceroy of India. Once Mary Curzon paid a visit to this park and her main aim was to see the famous Indian one-horned Rhinoceros. At that time, she could not find even a single rhinoceros there.
