The earliest shift starts at 5 AM and goes by 6 AM and next shift starts at 6 and ends at 7 AM. The last shift starts at 7 AM to 8 AM. On certain circumstances, the timing for third shift can be changed to 7 AM to 8 AM. Hence, we can say that the third shift is fully optional which depends upon the approval of the authority of Kaziranga Park.

Kohora Zone Safari Timing - Elephant safari in Kohora zone is conducted in different sessions, but only in the morning time. The first session starts at 5 AM to 6 AM and 2nd session starts at 6 AM to 7 AM.
Bagori Zone safari timing - Just as Kohora zone, in Bagori zone, elephant safari can be enjoyed in the morning only and in 2 sessions which include 5 AM to 6 AM and 6 AM to 7 AM.
Note - In Kaziranga National Park, the forest department conducts elephant safari in 2 shifts in the morning and 3rd shift is option that entirely depends on the authorities.
Central Zone - The beginning spot for central zone is at Mihimukh riding tower from where travellers can start their adventurous journey in the Kaziranga forest. This safari takes 1 hour of time to complete the excursion and it passes through Foliomari and Daland areas. The described routes falling in central zone are Kathpora, Mona Beel, Mihimukh, Daphlang, Karasing, Diffolu River, and then, return.
Bagori Zone - It starts from Bagori headquarter and takes travellers to the western region of the park. If your target is to witness one-horned rhinos of this park, then Bagori zone will definitely justify with your expectations. The key routes of Bagori zone are Rouman, Ongabeel, Monabeel, Rajapukhuri and then, return.
Day 01 - when you reach at Guwahati railway station or airport, our representative will welcome you and help you transferring to the Kaziranga. To reach here, you may take around 5 hours via road as it falls around 230 kms from Guwahati. On arriving here, check in your pre-booked hotel and have some rest. You will be served hot lunch in hotel. You can spend the remaining day as per your wish while visiting nearby sights. Have dinner at hotel and then, overnight stay.
Day 02 - Elephant Safari in Kaziranga - Next morning, rise up early before sunrise because your elephant safari is all set to take you deep into the forests. This time, you will be taken to western zone that is the most happening zone of Kaziranga to give you glimpses of wildlife. For the most captivating sights of wildlife, early morning safari is regarded as the best option.
